This month singer, actress and model Rita Ora got up close and personal with some of the giant nail varnish bottles we made for the launch of her latest make-up range for Rimmel at the Ace Hotel in Shoreditch.

This was a high profile event for our client Coty Inc., who had invited leading journalists from all over Europe to attend their press event. To create stand out branding for them we produced large Rimmel letters made in polystyrene with each letter painted in one of the hero shades from the new range.

The day was all about a celebration of colour. Guests were welcomed in the bar area which was decorated with bright gerbera flowers before breaking out for workshops and interviews with Rita Ora who was unveiling her latest products.

Rita Ora’s new range of nail varnishes and lip glosses is for the spring summer season and draws on festival chic so the products were displayed on strips of grass and pretty pieces of camping gear were also used to create a carefree ambience. Life size Rimmel branded 2D VW campervans created the backdrops for the manicure stations where journalists could sample the new colours themselves.

All the colours had cool names with a festival twist such as ‘Glastonberry’ ‘Rain rain go away’ and ‘Tangerine Tent’. For the event we produced giant replica models of the 6 hero nail polish colours and the red lip gloss (Oh My Gloss). Rita had great fun posing with the replicas and loved them so much that she even asked to keep one of them.

We really enjoyed working on this event and the team were delighted to receive this lovely feedback from our client:

"Thank you once again for this great PR day! You helped us tremendously in pulling off a seamless and harmonious event. The journalists were absolutely thrilled by their day in London and their interview with Rita. And thanks to your splendid decoration we have already had some great tweets and instagram posts all over the world!" Coty Inc.
